• Susanne Peters (born 1988 in Saarbrücken) is a musician specializing in contemporary music. After completing her Master's degree in contemporary music at the Hochschule Luzern, she is actively involved in the Swiss music scene. As a member of Ensemble Contrechamps in Geneva, Collegium Novum Zürich, and le NEC in La Chaux-de-Fonds, she passionately engages in chamber music in various constellations, such as Ensemble Inverspace. Collaborating with composers is a pivotal aspect of her artistic work, having premiered numerous works and collaborated with renowned composers and conductors. Susanne regularly performs at national and international festivals and contributes to various CD recordings. International ensembles like Ensemble Musikfabrik regularly engage her for projects.

    She is dedicated to promoting young composers, founding the Ensemble oerknal in the Netherlands during her studies, organizing workshops for aspiring composers. Additionally, she co-founded the composition competition BCCP in Pristina, Kosovo, providing a platform for young composers from the Balkan region.

    Susanne is particularly passionate about music education. Besides workshops for the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester's Musikwagen and collaborations with school classes, she shows a keen interest in interdisciplinary formats and initiates participative educational approaches. Since the fall of 2023, she has been the music educator for Ensemble Contrechamps.

  • Saxophonist Patrick Stadler is passionately dedicated to contemporary music. As a member of the Ensemble Nikel and Ensemble Inverspace, he plays a pioneering role in this field and contributes significantly to the creation of new works. Numerous CD recordings, appearances at renowned festivals and radio recordings testify to his great commitment. In 2023 he was awarded the Swiss Music Prize for these achievements. As a soloist, he has performed with the WDR Symphony Orchestra, Ensemble Resonanz, Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, the Basel Symphony Orchestra and the Basel Chamber Orchestra, among others. Since 2019 Patrick Stadler teaches as professor for saxophone, chamber music and contemporary music at the Hochschule für Musik in Nuremberg and is a lecturer at the International Summer Courses for New Music in Darmstadt.     Graduating with honors in specialized musical performance in contemporary music from Basel, he has performed globally, premiering works by renowned composers. He has given masterclasses internationally and holds teaching positions at the HfM "Hanns Eisler" Berlin and UdK Berlin. His solo and chamber performances have been featured on various platforms and labels, earning recognition, including the 2021 German Record Critics Award.

  • Robert Torche, born in 1989, is a sound artist dedicated to musical and transdisciplinary projects. At the intersection of technology and art, his work delves into contemporary political and societal issues, particularly exploring the dynamics between humans and non-humans. Leading the Mycelium collective with HannaH Vyborg Walter, he pioneers innovative transdisciplinary compositions, installations, and performances, with a current focus on telematic presentation formats.

    Renowned for his expertise, Robert is in high demand for collaborations with artists, performers, galleries, and musical ensembles, crafting original sound pieces. As a performer-interpreter, he has contributed to the meta-band UFO and the contemporary music ensemble Inverspace for over a decade. Additionally, he engages in experimental electronic music, participating in impromptu improvised concerts with fellow musicians.

    His education in audio design and improvised music at the Basel University of Music forms the basis of his artistic journey. The synergy between his technical skills and creative approach defines Robert as a bold artist pushing the boundaries of sound and transdisciplinary art, offering a distinctly contemporary perspective.

  • João Carlos Pacheco (*1988) is a Portuguese percussionist and electronic musician specializing in contemporary music. As a member of Ensemble Inverspace, Ensemble Phoenix Basel, and others, he actively contributes to the European contemporary music circuit. His collaborations extend to renowned festivals and institutions worldwide, including Wien Modern and Lucerne Festival. His multidisciplinary approach is evident in partnerships with Staatsoper Hamburg, Luzerner Theater and Theater Basel. Adept at creating artistic synergy, he leaves a distinctive imprint on compositions, working closely with composers. Currently an Associate Lecturer at the University of Applied Arts in Lucerne, he also serves as an Assistant Teacher at the Hochschule für Musik Basel.
